FOI Request re documents recovered from the Kelly home

Earlier today I sent the following Freedom of Information request to Thames Valley Police.

Currently, Thames Valley Police are being wholly obstructive re FOI requests which relate to the death of Dr. David Kelly. I view that obstructiveness on the part of Thames Valley Police as being perversion of the course of justice, a process which I believe Thames Valley Police to have been involved in since 2003.

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

I wish to ask:

1. How many documents were removed from David Kelly's home on 18th July 2003?

2. Was the search authorised? If so, by whom?

3. How many documents were removed from David Kelly's home on 19th July 2003?

4. Of the documents removed on 18th July 2003 how many were classified?

5. Of the documents removed on 19th July 2003 how many were classified?

6. Did the inventory of documents removed include a Restricted document which referred to a possible honour for David Kelly?

7. Did any public sector organisation (other than Thames Valley Police) have staff present at the Kelly home during the searches referred to above? If so, which organisation(s) had staff present?

Why another blog about the death of Dr. David Kelly in July 2003?

I hope on this blog, over time, to post much of the evidence relating to the death of Dr. David Kelly that was withheld from the Hutton Inquiry web site.

In particular I hope that those who gave oral testimony to the Hutton Inquiry will agree to the text of their written witness statements at the Hutton Inquiry being made public.

Lord Hutton has stated that if a witness to the Hutton Inquiry wishes to do so they can make public the content of their written witness statement.

Come Clean on Kelly will aim to put online any witness statements that have been made public, as well as hopefully becoming a resource for data garnered from, for example, Freedom of Information requests.

It's only by making public the totality of the evidence that the well-justified suspicions about the death of David Kelly and the cover-up that was the Hutton Inquiry may finally be put to rest.

Continuing cover-up is unacceptable.

All the evidence needs to be put into the public domain.

Come Clean on Kelly will attempt to assist increased transparency about the evidence.
